hi there.
Have been looking at getting a MK4 Golf gear knob and gaiter but cannot for the life of me get the old gear knob off, could anyone point me in the right direction to do this. also has anyone fitted a mk4 golf replacment and how easy is it.

When you get the sorround off and lift up the gaiter, there is a clip that holds on the knob, your supposed to take it off carefully so you can reuse if needed, but i just cut mine off cause i dont intend of using it again. It is easy to do when you know what clip to take off. I think it is a gold in colour. Hope this helps, Jezz.
