Yep, took mine to VW as the system has to be re-levelled. If you adjust the xenons using the adjuster on top of each headlight, it reverts back to factory position after you turn the ignition off and on again IIRC. VW could charge anything from £0-20! It only takes a couple of minutes.

That's ridiculous. It takes minutes. If they charged me that I'd make them wait there doing absolutely nothing for half an hour, as that's how long I'd paid them for.

I took mine to VW had them to have them sorted and they said they were at their highest setting :S anyway they were still pointing too low so i adjusted then manually and they have been fine ever since, never moved or reset so i'm not sure if mine are buggered but the manual option worked for me

There is two. Theres one in the middle and one on the left/right depending on which side you are on. Look on the top of the headlight - there are two hole cutouts with a crosshead/allen key white nylon adjuster underneath.

Maybe i'm the oddball here, but i just adjusted mine using the screws on the top of the headlights... and they have yet to self adjust themseleves back to the factory position.....

Its not so much about the beam main adjustment - its about the auto adjustment which is load dependent.

This requires the autolevellers to learn the new home position for the lights to prevent them over adjusting and breaking the reflector off the adjusters - its very important!
