HELP ON ENGINE OIL ON 9N3 POLO

ANYONE WHO HAS A POLO 9N3 CAN HELP ME.....I AM JUST WONDERING HOW LONG DOES YOUR ENGINE OIL NEEDLE TAKE TO GET TO THE MIDDLE? MINE SEEMS TO HAVE A PROBLEM...IT TAKES AROUND 5 MINTUES PLUS FOR THE NEEDLE TO GET TO MIDDLE. IS THAT HOW LONG IT NORMALLY TAKES OR ISIT JUST ME BEING A IDIOT?
THE 2ND PROBLEM I HAVE IS WHEN I DO A FULL TURN TO THE LEFT I HEAR A SCRAPPING NOISES...ANY BODY GOT IDEA WHAT IT MIGHT BE? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. CHEERS LADS.

I take it your on about the engine temprature? if so 5 mins sounds about right to me!

Engine Temprature is about 5 mins to the middle on my 9n.

9n tdi 1.4 takes about 1.5miles till its reaches the middle sometimes a bit longer depending on outside temperatures.

Same here...in the winter my TDi can take 10 minutes just to move of the mark if it's cold outside. Thought my gauge was busted when I first got the car. I've never seen my radiator fan spin yet, no matter how hard it's driven...weird.

Funny you should mention that I can't ever remember the fan cutting in and I have covered nearly 66000 miles. As long as it sits in the middle and doesn't move up from there then there is no problem.

my fan kicks in alot more since i got the forge front mount!
