right kids

heres one for you

currently im running tarox sport japan discs, with mintex M1144 racing pads

they are giving up the ghost soon, so need some new ones

what upgraded ones are you guys running, or shall i just bite the bullet and go for the 312mm conversion with standard discs and pads for the time being?

Helpppppppppp!!

Porsche 4pot caliper conversion .... dont follow the masses .. be different ;-)

But like Jeff says the 312mm are so much better than standard....

So yes just bite the bullet..

Only thing is I can afford the conversion but only with standard stuff at the minute!

Is the pedal feel better With the 312s alot better and our 288 anyway?

J who's that bloke you speak to or tell us about on eBay? Is he still around at good prices? ta mate!

i got the calipers and carriers from him great deal, also i got standard 312mm discs and ebc yellow stuff pads and all i can say is even when the brakes are litrally smoking they just stop better the hotter they get , also they are great from cold tbh i couldnt tell the difference in bite at cold from standard pads so no worries there! also the pedal feels alot more solid! I would recommend getting the pads all round and discs at the same time! The codes for the pads are

front DP41330 for 312mm calipers

rear DP4680R for standard rears

if you are stuck with cost limitations get the same again but use dot 5 fluid and braided flexi hoses if not already upgraded this will be better than what you have at the moment and will keep you going till the funds balance is at a level where you can upgrade to the 312s properely it willl be worth th weight and the fluid and hoses won't go to waste either.

without looking at them I couldn't say for sure . I would buy new ones in any case. You can get these from any good local car spares shop I believe even halfords can get them.
