Sound like a good start and a cheap run around at that!

Its best to leave polo's nice and simple and 80% of the time they look hidiously tacky with bodykits on them so i'd advise against it. Practically EVERYONE on this forum would tell you to stay away from lexarse clusters! Reason being all that chrome looks cheap and nasty. Furthermore, there are much better options for rear lights, all you have to do is trawl pics of 6ns hear and you'd find something you'd like.

If you don't want the polo to feel like it'll tip over you might want to invest in coilover suspensions, which start from about £200. The better system you go for the more it's likely to cost! You can easily make it feel like a go-kart by getting it polybushed all around, struts, anti-roll bars etc.

As for interiors look out for mk5 polo leather interiors which cost around £500 if you're lucky to find one.

Other then that your plans are quite good and should keep you busy lol. End of the day you have to remember its your motor so you enjoy it how you like

You're right about the lexus lights. I got them, I fitted them and now I realise they were a mistake. I'm already hunting for alternatives.

Then I changed the lights and had the exhaust fitted. The exhaust still needs some work because some of the pipes were incorrect so now it sticks out too much as is a bit bent but it'll be fixed tomorrow probably.

Tints and interior next. Then a little engine work me thinks!

Identical to mine. Clear all round including lex-arse looking for mk5s now. Same colour paint.

Either 6n 16v lights or 6n2 light.

16v rears are tinted as standard. I have a set that i've tinted a much darker red. the best option on any 6n is to get your hands on 6n2 rear clusters. They require very little work to fit and they shouldn't dent your insurance as aftermarket mods because they're OEM polo parts

looks nice altough i would say the exhaust hangs out a bit 2 much 4 my liking, and ovbviously the lexarse lights lol
