My 9N3 TDi - remove bump strips?

Hey guys,

Just an idea I'm playing with. I'm going to be doing some work on my front and rear bumpers, so I thought maybe I should remove my bump strips. But something I though of now, do you guys know if the doors, well, the bump strips on the sides of the car, are just glued to the panels or clipped in, meaning when I remove them, there'll be holes that need to be filled?

If so, then I think I won't bother with smoothing now. I need to actually post a "rides" thread. I've been meaning to do so for a while now. Don't have much that's exciting, but I guess you need to start somewhere. :)

Ciao, Matteo

Darn.... So much for that idea. Well, I supposed I can still go ahead with the removing of the number plate section. :)
