Hi,
I need to remove the Engine/Gearbox from my daughters 96 Polo. I realize now that I will need to buy a special tool to undo the 'Spline' bolts that attach the drive shafts to the gearbox. Can anyone please advise me what size of tool to purchase. I had been advised that I should get an M8, but the specs for this tool suggest that it is too big.

Its that size on the mk5 polo which is a few years later and uses the same boxes, so an M8 spline bit should do the trick.
