ehmm basically the front is just mangled abit. the intercooler could be damaged but apart from that everything else wos workin fine, electrics and everything.

if the scumbag has insurance then they should cover it all but if not, the insurers bureau will cough up the money.
the t**t tried to convince me to not phone the police or to lie to them, i wos gonna bash him. police came down and he got arrested.
hope they keep idiots like him off the road for a good couple years.

such a shame too, i had plans to lower it and a nice set of BBS. :(

and thanks mate im alrite, just whiplash, i wos doin 50mph down the carriageway when i hit him. CLAIM :P

Claim will be hassle because its coming through the insurers buraeu.

I had a crash too (uninsured woman driver in a big ugly scenic) and have just got my car fixed and back after a month - in fact over a month since the crash. :(

Still no word on any claim.

I'm glad your fine and at least your new wheels weren't on to get ruined. :)

Mine didn't have anywhere near as much damage as yours.

I was doing about 15 - 20 mph when a woman came off the pavement into the side of me (just off a roundabout).

There was a dent in the front side wing, that joined to a dent on the front side door. There were scratches down the back door and rear side too.

Took about 3 weeks to get the car agreed for repair, then took about a week to get it repaired.

It looks good as new now, it's had some spraying for sure - though I'm not sure how much.

On top of that they repaired (or replaced) my alloys, even though the scratches was curbing (I said the other car caused it hahaha) :D .

They also Valeted it inside and out , and it smells and looks good as new. :)

I've just taken down my r-plates there when I got it back (on saturday) and It's great to have it back - I'm still a bit more nervous on the roads even though it wasn't my fault. :(

The claim is going to be tricky though.

:O yea your accident sounds like a minor one.
i just cant wait for it to come back to me all fixed etc or even if i get it replaced by a brand new one :D
just very pissed off at the other idiot, turning up a no entry which wos a carriageway, could of killed someone with a head on collision. hope the police keep him off the roads for a good couple years.

I would get it checked out by an independant specialist to make sure that the car is true, however you would be amazed what they are able to pull out these days with the new equipment thats available. I know where you are coming from after the car has been in an accident it just never feels the same. If you feel that way sell it you should get a good price and then go out and buy another one for yourself.

PS send the boys round to the tosser that caused the accident.
