Help a tale of polo problems
Having a nightmare few weeks with wifes polo 2002 diesel sdi 5 dr hback first rear nearside doorlock packed up got a spare from scrappie it wouldnt fit as the electrical connector on the relacement was an 8 pin connector on the broken lock it was a 6 pin connector so door is now held in place with a bungee strap !!!
Then all the wipers packed up i replaced the wiper stalk and indicator stalk which is a single unit steering wheel off etc etc etc pain of a job to do still no front wipers !! however the rear wiper worked - typical the one thats not essential !!! so I suspect the wiper relay is faulty sometimes it clicks sometimes it doesnt but im not sure which one is for the wiper I rang a vw spares place they said it would be relay number 99 but of course i dont have a relay numbered 99 does anyone know the wiper relay no for this car???
The part I need for the rear door is Y3B4839015AG with 6 pin connection if anyone has one lying around............

Y3B4839015AG

Thats not a VW part number. The part number is in the format 6QX XXX XXX XX (for example) It always goes number letter in that format.

This is the part number you need 3B4 839 015 AG. FYI its over £90 new from VW!

Absolutely, that is the thing about VAG, you can normaly guess the part number as they use a very structured method, probably that is due to the British army restarting them after WW2!

To the OP, good to hear that you sorted it though!
