I have a 1.4 75bhp polo. I want to keep stock airbox but want a direct cold air feed to it, has anyone done this ? Pics would be great

doubt it will make that much difference , think vw have probably thought about the current air feed to make it as efficient as possible , maybe just get a aftermarket panel filter to replace the current paper one?

not sure alot of the guys running the ibiza FRs and Cupras run them and they have the same engine as my gt so i went with them and didnt have any trouble with it on my arosa , so its not necceserily any better or worse just my preference, performance gains wise the gt is rated at 128bhp as standard and mine made 136.5bhp with a panel filter and cupra air intake , now if this is due to the mods or the car just came from the factory making more power than vw quote is anyones guess , id tend to think the later though. 8)
