UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Has anyone had any experience with replacing their own wing mirrors? Some idiot I live near managed to break the outer casing of the wing mirror and I have found that I can get one online for around 44 quid and was wondering how easy it would be to fit myself?

It's a 2007 1.4 TDI Polo - any guidance or advice would be appreciated or indeed if I am in the wrong area of the forum, please let me know!
