Hey all

How do you all fancy a day on the rollers at JBS? (on Sunday 27h June)...

JBS Auto Designs are having a brand new State-of-the-Art Dyno installed (2wd, 600bhp) so I thought it would be a good idea to get a bunch of MKIVS and Polos together for a "shootout"!

Price will be Â£20 + VAT per run and you'll be able to pay by card over the phone in advance to secure your run.

If enough people are interested, JBS will put on a BBQ etc and hopefully by then the weather will be nice enough to make a proper day of it.

There will be adequate off-road parking and they recon they will be able to do around 30-40 runs in a full day.

JBS are located fairly centrally (Chesterfield - JN29 M1).

if the turbo conversion goes ahead this would be a great chance for some shake-down testing (and a chance for me to price up some NOS)

Yeah.. should be up for that!

Hopefully my Golf will be running by then.. if you don't mind a mk2 Golf tagging along!

I think my head on the Gt needs a good rebuild, so unles the golf is done or the head on the GT done, then I doubt I'd run... if you get what I mean...

Yeah, definately up for it. Although I can't see my blue one being there, the green one will be. It's running really strong at the moment and it would be interesting to see what it puts out.

IM up for the trip down, doubt i'll go on the rollers though but it'll be a good chance to get talking to the guys @ JBS and meet some of the crew from here

Could someone please pm me with some directions. I might even make a weekend of it depending on how far the travel is.

Due to a delay in the installation of the rollers, the date has had to be changed from the 12th June to SUNDAY 27th JUNE.

Please can you all re-confirm that this is ok?
