Recirculating Valve (can it be removed)???

Was just wondering if the recirculating valve on the inlet can be removed?
as i have got it remaped and have had no sound for my money :cry:
just when i had my rs turbo, i had a baileys dump valve on it so you could hear it
was a turbo a mile away!!! :lol:

any help very welcome

dont do it it causes problems if you want a dump sound get a cone filter and remove the sound proofing under the bonnet and if you are chipped you will hear a nice whoosh! You cant use a fully atmosphere dump valve on this engine fooks up the ecu! I tried it LOL

i had a cone filter on it but wasnt impressed to be honest and the heat soke was bad,
so i now have a closed BMC one.

Here you go m8 got some pics up of my lupo bmc induction kit works a treat, but no dump valve noise :cry:

what is the power difference on this BMC compared to the flat BMC filter that fitter to the standard air box?
