Brakes

This may be a really silly question but i may aswell ask, iam looking to upgrade my brakes on my 1.4 16v i currently have the ones with the 256mm set up, the same as the gti front and rear, my question is, would the discs on the front fit the back?? or is there anyway of modifying them to so i can have the g60 on the front and the 256mm on the back?
and while iam at it, is it just the carriers and discs i need for the g60 front set up?

Yeh mate it's just the carriers and discs.
256mms wouldn't fit on the rears I don't think, not with the current carriers and calipers. The rears are 232mm as standard.

Rears are 226 tim. 232 is GTI only.

my rears look the same as the gti though alex? bascially the same set up? or is it different?

Its only a slight size difference tbf. I *think* its the same setup from memory. I think its just a larger carrier.
