Hi everyone,

I have a Polo 6N2 1.4 Match model which is a 2001 year model. I am currently having an issue with my ABS light, it is occasionally come on. Today while I was driving in the heavy rain condition, I put my foot on brake pedal and trying to brake and it feels like there were something stuck which not allowing me to brake any further, and making some 'jak jak' sort of noise. I have to release my foot on brake and brake again then it went ok. I am not sure it is to do with my ABS system or something else. Bear in mind I just had my brake discs and pads replaced last month. Please advise with your valuable opinion on this issue! Many thanks

Kind regards,
Samuel

Its either your rear ABS sensors playing up, or you have a faulty sensor at the front, be it the sensor itself, or the cable has come loose and the tyre has burned through it. Have the front wheels off and have a look at the wires going to the sensors (the ones that clip onto the suspension strut)
