9N TDI sport Cruise

hi All,
First post, so Im a little nervous
- I am trying to fit retrofit cruise control to my 53 plate 9n TDI Sport. So far, I have bought the stalk brand new from VW and the harness from CarMedia and just wanted to know 2 things:
1) Has anyone done this job before and can they post/point me in the direction of some instructions. I know the basic requirements but where exactly to find wires/terminals any other tips etc...
2) Does the generic VAG-COMs on ebay for £15 using the shareware Ross-Tech software allow me to do the adaptation to enable the Cruise Control?
Any advice on this would be very greatfuly received!!
