Hi all,

I have been given a advisory notice with my MOT

nearside/offside front bonded suspension unit is deteriorated.

I have been told is would be the front bushes, have i been told correctly? smile.gif And is a big job to fix?

car is a 9n 1.2

any help would be great

Quite a lot of people have done them themselves

Not sure what they mean by bonded suspension unit, But Its normally the console bushes that go and the link that Chewy supplied will explain how to replace them.



Very top of picture is the rear console bush.
Very bottom of picture is the front wishbone bush.
Far right of picture is the lower ball joint.

these are a bugger to do but well worth it and made a massive difference. if you plan to do it yourself then give me a shout as i have the makeshift tool they talk about in the how to guide.
