Hello people im new on this forum nice to meet you all:D
I have a little question cause i have become a fellow polo driver which excuse my french i F***ing love!.
It was up for sale for £1200 1 year mot fully serviced and 2 months tax fair deal:D
I love driving this little bad boy its like a 4 seat go kart with a roof on the top and a cd player!

Straight to the point?
I want to modify my car " do it up"! i am new to this.
I get paid next friday my first thing on my list is alloys:
i need to get alloys 15" alloys cause i have browsed the forum and it seems like the best idea.

Problem:

I dont want to buy alloys and find out they are the right size but dont have the correct fitting:(
If you have alloys on your polo or know what alloys would do can you please help me with some sugestions?:(
my budget is £400 or less:D

One thing to look out for with alloys (a mistake I've never read about) is to check the centre bore on the wheels.
Thats the hole the axle goes into, I cant remember the specs now, but some cars such as some Mazda and Sukuki's have the smallest centre bore, which means you wont be able to get the wheels onto your car.

The things you need to look for in alloys are:
Stud pattern: 4 x 100 for Polos
Offset and Wheel width, I cant remember the recommended ones now, hopefully some helpful members can provide those details.

And from what I remember, 15in rims use tyre profiles which are cheaper/readily available compared to 16-18in wheels

Stud pattern above is correct. You also need a centrebore of 57.1 or larger using spigot rings. Recommended ET is 35-38 but can go way beyond that lol.

just to add to that, the width of the wheels.

anything between 6-8.5 is good. wider wheels obviously stating a different style to narrower ones.
