IMO, Lowered car on standard wheels > new alloys on stock height.

I'd say lower it.

are you going for bigger alloys or the same size? if going for bigger i would lower it first to save the car looking like an off roader!

its always tempting to get alloys forst as they are an easy mod and can be fitted streight away without hassle, but lowing is the best thing to do i think, feels like youve actually done something rather than just sticking alloys on (which look s**t when a cars not lowered).

haha cheers for the input guys, i guess lowerin first would be a better idea to save her from lookin like a jeep like Rich-T said.
now for the hard part..... its either goin to be cheap coilovers (aiming around 200-300quid) or springs that lower like 50mm!
and then 16's or 17s hmmmmm

Coilovers all day long if i were you!!! i did the silly mistake and went for springs... But at least i know, ill never make the same mistake again!!

coilovers for def as for the wheels size that would be down to you really its all personal choice
i have 17's on mine which i really like
And my best mates girlfriend (kim9n) has 16's on hers
Really it all depends on how low you go!!!
