I'm looking at purchasing one in the very near future, i was wondering if there were any others currently interested in buying one and was thinking if there were 5 interested i could contact Forge and see if they'd offer a discount.

Also if anyone is interested in the TIP and Intercooler to throttle body hose?

Is the throttle body hose not required if getting the FMIC as this comes with one?

If anyone has a Forge FMIC they're looking to sell, send me a PM :)

Did you order one mate? Its a great bit of kit, the OEM SMIC is pathetic, makes you laugh when you see the two together

No not yet Kenny, wanted to see if there was any interest in a group buy first, doubt there will be enough to get a significant discount :(. It's either buy coilovers now and FMIC in another month or so, or the other way round!

Yeah I saw your thread when you fitted yours, the SMIC is tiny!

Haha, that's shocking! What do you reckon Jeff, FMIC or coilovers first?

I would say coilovers mate, standard suspension on the polo is pretty poor! Or even get some springs fitted and get the FMIC aswell?

as kenny said, handling before speed, i honestly cant remember how the standard gti handled but i know it only took me a week to get it on coils

would love to drive a standard one again to compare things like handling and speed etc

Agreed, the handling is pretty poor as standard, VERY 'crashy' IMO! Although the RARB has helped handling alot :)

I got mine remapped at More-Bhp the week after i picked mine up! Standard was fast, for me, as i came from a 1.2 Corsa...But with a Stage 1 remap the power is how it should've been from the factory.

Now i have to make the decision between AP coilovers and Weitecs
