i bet everyone is fed up of me talking about mk5 tailgates fitting mk4. i know they need "adjusting" but before i buy one is theyre anyone who knows what exactly needs adjusting?
if anybody randomly has pictures this will be a massive help because i have enough money for the boot and am going to buy it as soon as i know what needs doing to it, im not very good at "major adjusting" things
any help would be great thanks

The only guy I've seen do it on here is a guy called mk4_mike, and he's been very quiet for a while now. He's also a fully qualified bodywork man, so he knew what he was doing, plus he had all the tools to do it. I *think* a fair bit of adjustment is needed, have a hunt for his post, baby blue polo on starmags. HTH.
