Unless I am being incrediable stupid or blind I cannot see that my Polo Gti has one. Surely nearly all 2000 reg cars have them these days. I like to keep an eye on my MPG.

Nope they don't. Bit silly if you ask me, VW should've put one in IMO

Would be useful to know but when you buy a GTI I think the MPG is a side issue.

Expect 38MPG on average, Motorway doing 70 I would say 42-45MPG and through 30 and 40 zones considerably less, probably low 30's. If your driving fast then were talking mid 20's.

The GTI loves a bit of fuel, especially V Power.

not that fussed about MPG but I worked it out after using my first tank that I am doing 42.7mpg. My journey to and from work is very economical as I am cruising just under 60 all the way which is 23miles.

Im just used to being in worse cars but ones that do show MPG, when your next service is etc and thought that the Polo would have this, afterall the Polo is quite well equiped for a hatchback.

Oh well not the end of the world, would have just been nice.

42.7MPG is good going so nice one.

The Polo wont tell you what MPG its doing but it will let you know when its next service is due.
The garage that performs the service can set it on the speedo so that it alerts you when the service is due. You can also set it yourself but dont ask me how :D
