Paint splashes on the bonnet, need Help!

Hey,
I have recently bought a 2002 red polo. It looks great apart from a few annoying little stone chips which i plan to get sorted and also on the bonnet of the car it seems to have loads of little dots of paint, im not sure of what kind of paint it is as it was already on there. But it looks like someone has painted something near it and the paint off the brush has splashed on to the car.

I have tried washing it a number of times and have also tried using a little T-Cut on it but havent been successful in any attempts of removing it :(

Does anyone have any suggestions in what could get it off?

Thanks

If you get some petrol, and dab it lightly with a cloth and lightly rub the dots of paint it should come off. Had do to it on my mates punto once cause it was vandalised with blue spray. Dont rub too hard though else it will rub away to the metal!
Matt.

Petrol is quite risky. Have you tried just your fingernails?

If its white paint it could be off the white lines in the road and its a nightmare to get off, I had to take my last car to the body shop and get every splash sanded down and painted again.

Yeah i have tried with my finger nails and it didnt work, have also tried tar remover as i read somewhere that it can work but it didnt

Is there anything other than petrol ? as petrol does sound abit risky

I dont think it is road markings as its just down the middle of the bonnet and not around the wheels or anything which i would have thought it would be if it was, but there again im not sure :D

Thanks

a said brake and clutch CLEANER not fluid. Cleaner wont hurt ya paint but the brake fluid will ruin it.
Only prcaution is dont go mad else ya will end up rubbin the paint too hard and it will fade.
