Hi guys, a while back i decided to fit some gti interior and door cards, after doing this my passenger window would not work from either the drivers side or passenger side ( i kept my old switches )

So annoyed with this i have had the passenger side card off a few times for inspection, Check the wires between door / car also.. With no luck i went onto the driver side for inspection, Couldnt see anything so back together it went , Now drivers side does not work, Nor the central locking...

I have checked the door to car wiring , and found that a wire had broke and others were damaged,

Broken wire was large black/white wire,

Damaged were the Brown/blue&brown which are twisted, the blue& grey(this wire inside looks blackish rather than the copper colour) & the brown large wire

I have repaired the wires with connectors etc..
but
Now...

No passenger electric window from either switch
No drivers window
No central locking with key in either door.
Car lock button only closes and opens boot

Any ideas?
Have check the fuse and its fine.

Im really stuck guys

Jay

Sounds like a grounding fault - check over what you have done again, and get a multimeter on the points to see if you actually have a circuit.

The connections (where they plug into all the switches and such) There is a permanent live on each connector

also, check to make sure the connector on the door is tight, and not corroded.
