im having a full install done to my gti tomorrow so i could do you a deal on all the standard gti speakers if you wanted to do they?
also, for the rattle, it cant be hard to find the offending noise, just play some bass and get under the car and have a look and feel about, when you touch something and the rattle stops, presto, you have found it

as for my headunit, yeah its all good mate, looks and sounds spot on, has everything too, bluetooth cd radio usb i pod sat nav etc you can get it in halfords now for £799, i paid less than that though months ago from car audio direct, got mine for £719

the 'flapping' noise is coming from behind the bumper and behind where the warning triangle goes in your boot!
its there for the air pressue differences for when you close the door, your windscreen doesnt pop out, so dont go blocking it off lol
best thing you can do is line the flaps with material so they dont flap against each other!
hope this helps!

Man i got the jbls fitted sounds so much better now i tried to padd out just under were the boot flap is with old t shirts and well i cant hear my vibrations inside the car anymore but when the bass kicking man you can really hear the flapping outside it so kills the look! i was thinking of taking off the bumper and fill the flaps maybe has any1 got pix or were you seem to be talking about were to cover up would be great.
