how high do your engines rev at 70?

i saw a thread on this a little while back but cant seem to find it now =[
just wondering where abouts your engines are revving at speends as ive had a new gearbox and want to make sure its all correct!
Eg. mine does between 3 and 3.5 k at 70 mph in 5th gear and its a 1.4 8v

at 70mph mines about 2.8-3k mines a 1.4 16v

bepe i have the same engine, gimme an hour and il get on the dual carrage way and tell you what miine said, my gear box is about a month 2 months old

so im guessing that mine would be average then as its a 8v? i just seem to remember it was lower on the old box thats all =P

Mines 1.4 16v, revs are around 2.8 at that speed. So your 8v sounds rite!

mines a 1.4 8v, so doing 70ish is about 3-3.1 k

Bearing in mind some peoples will be different if there car is lowered, different wheels/tyres etc this affects your speedo
