Talk to me about about bulbs?

We currently just have the normal 'yellowish' standard bulbs in the polo, but I want to upgrade to something more powerful with a more whiteish light (more like the Xenons on my TT).

I don't want a xenon conversion, but would like some suggestions for decent quality bulbs that will be a big improvement over the standard headlight bulbs?

Im sure lots of you have upgraded your rubbish standard bulbs so fire away with suggestions please :D

Thanks

I dont mind spending £20, but Im asuming a Xenon conversion may cost a little more than that!

Been looking at the Philips X-treme Power bulbs reieved below. They seem to be well rated.

Been using the osram nightbreakers, noticeable difference and have a 12 month warranty, they also seem to last longer as I run dip during daylight as well, changed my mains as they were pretty obviously yellow compared to the nightbreakers. I'm sure autobulbs direct has been mentioned a few times on this forum for good service, I can't fault them.

I'd recommend the Osram Nightbreakers for that money mate.
