Speaker fitting

Hi guys, going to fit my speakers, any guides on here for the 6n2, got the one for removing the door cards which im sure will help, just little things on what to do, the speaker wires have an adaptor on dont they?, is it a case of cutting it off and puting spade conectors on? thats no probs my dads got quite a bit of electrical kit.
Also 17cm is the right size yeah? 6.5inch
Im sure i will be fine just wanted to make sure.
