Right as you can see from my other post, about the hids from the pix you can see my car is riding like a tractor!! lol so its now time i lower it so now i need some advice but heres my situation.

i have a 1.2 polo with size 16" rimz
I am thinking of maybe going to 17" in jan would that have any effect on the coilovers i would buy asin i have 16's now but would get 17's but stil have the same coilovers would that be ok?

also i usualy take my family in my car whenever we go out so is there an issue with any rubbing or over speed bumps if i drop it so the wheels are sitting nicely under the arches?

what is semi coilover and full coilover i saw it on somones post and i didnt know what they were

what brands would you guys recomend for a 1.2 and price because my birthday is coming up and wanna order them quick and treat myself so please guys help

you can get a sport suspension pack which is lowering springs and better shocks, try orange tuning for roughly 200-300 quid with 30 or 50 mm drop,

with 17" there'll be no problem with coilovers because you can adjust them til there right, go slow over speed bumps and you'll be fine,

If you have your family in the car alot you may want to consider ride comfort aswell but as for certain types of coilover you'll have to get peoples opinions on what they have
I have fk highsport coilovers, ride comfort is good and i think alot of people have them going new for many hundred and 2nd hand for about 200.

it depends on your budget for how much u want to spend. as said there are many different types which will obviously mean the better the quality the more monies they gna cost. however the hight is adjustable (thats the hole point of them) therefore any lowering or lifting issues are minimal. you can adjust it to suit ur style. if you want cheap budget ones like i opted for then you can get them off ebay or if you have the money to spend 350-700+ plus fitting then go for quality ones. i currently have raceland coilovers which i bought brand new off ebay about 2 3 months ago. if you want you can have them for £150  there not bad at all check the reviews online if you wish. as they say you get what you paid for so it depends on how deep ur poket is at the end of the day
