Drivers window dropped

Hi, I have now got my son his 1st car.Polo of course.
The drivers window(manual) goes up and down ok but drops of iys front mount when lowered.
Can anyone tell me what part i need please.

i would take the doorcard off and have a look, could just be a case of its not on the runners right, ie straighten the glass up and tighten some bolts, so possibly no parts needed.
te doorcards pretty simple to take off, if u need help with it give us a shout, al talk you through it

Thanks for the reply John.
Pisc to follow once i have sorted the 'look'.
Not trying to spoil him,more about 'directing' in the right(euro look) direction.
I have been a member on here ever since the days when ukmkivs used to use a room here to crash out when needed.

No probs, and good on you, directing him in the right way
and get him signed up, i signed up wen i got my first polo, its helped me alot, just wee things help along the way.

UKMKIV's cost me a LOT of money back in the day!
I still have the Golf and would not change anything that i spent money on.

yea i kno what you mean, ive not been on for a bit because i upgraded to a golf mkv but found a cheap mk4 polo 16v to fix up, i just love the look of the old polos, so yea ive caught a vw bug
as said get your boy signed up, and get some pics up
