Retrofitting Heated washer jets?

Post by MGrove03 »

Ages agi i managed to snap the wee lugs on one of these that holds it to the bottom of the bonnet so i was thinking on replacing both of them with the heated ones. Are these easy enough to fit?

Im assuming there will be wires that are connected somewhere?

Also does anyone know a price for them?

Thanks

I'm sure that there will be quite a lot of new wiring to do to achieve this upgrade, my wife's Polo 9N does have "winter pack" but my Passat B5 does not, and I've always considered retro fitting the heated jets. I always use enough window washer fluid that includes an "anti-freeze" to stop the nozzles/jets freezing - maybe not as good as heated jets but I'm on the East coast and a bit further North so get colder weather than you, and I've never had frozen jets in the nine winters since I got the Passat.
