Rear axle?

i was wondering who knows what rear axles fit the polo with no or least hassle? ie to fit rear discs rather than drums.

ive heard the mk3 golf gti does but not sure on hassle etc

any help would be appreciated

Seat Ibiza 2 litre cupra axle is what iv got on my polio straight fit as i got handbrake cables with it, you would need the ones from the Seat, i got the whole lot off ebay posted for £100 if i remember right around about there anyway,

cheers mate, yea i forgot about similar platform cars, so no work needs done at all then?

and you got any pics of the under side of the car with the axle in place?

nope i had the old one off and the new one in in around an hour, not includidng bleeding brakes and adjusting the handbrake.

not got any pics of the underside but iv got pics from when i did it il just plug my phone in and get them for you.

not great pics of it but it shows kinda that its the same haha.

only differences i seen were the Seat one has a tortion bar in the middle and my polo one didnt but didnt afferct it and Seat had abs cables but i just tiestraped them on could have cut them off but thought uf i rote it iff would be easyer to sell axle haha.
