Could somebody tell me what kind o f adapters i need to buy to install an aftermarket radio in my Polo 9n (07/2002). I currently have the OEM Beta unit and I'm going to buy the new Alpine CDA-9831. What's the size of the rear door speakers? Can I buy the spacers for the rear doors from VW? Will non-VW speakers fit int those spacers? And a last quick question :P Does anybody know if there are anykind of facia adapter to this car? I would like to get one so the radio blend in more easilly in the console! :)

tkx zahir_213! :) Just one more question, when I pump up the volume the front speakers make the door tremble a lot, is this because the OEM spacers are made of plastic?

I went to my VW retailer this afternoon and they told if I put an aftermarket radio on my 2003 Polo it would mess up with the electronics of the car! Does anybody knows what I can do to avoid this problem?

well the only thing I can think of is this

not such a huge problem,
I think they are trying to scare you really, probably trying to make you buy a CD changer off them for 200 quid or however much it is. Ask all the guys and gals in the NEW POLO forum and they will tell you what fitting an aftermarket unit will really do.
