If your planning for a 1.8T, save the money for that mate. There's no real point in tuning a pretty much untunable engine (without huge amounts of money put into it for significant gains) then taking it out further down the line.

It's wasted money though mate IMO. If you want proper gains from a non-turbo petrol car, you've gotta put in proper money.

If you are getting a shop to do the 1.8t conversion for you, you had better get saving. You are talking upwards of 5k at LEAST. A good conversion will set you back about 7 or 8k iirc.
