Hi all. Since buying my 1.2 in march ive had a problem with it. When i use the back wiper it misses half the window out..its gettin quite irritating now seeing water etc on back window all the time. I dont know why this is happening. Ive tried 2 new wiper blades no change so ive bought a new arm which my fella was gonna put on today..but he couldnt get the old 1 off. It was quite rusty and wouldnt budge. Dunno what to do with it!!

Its a common problem. its all to do with the shape of the glass.

Just not in this case! It works when the wiper cap is off? But when you put that back on it misses it again

frustrating!

Something's not right there. Mine's fine even with an old blade but it does need changing. It sounds like the wiper mechanism might be bent somewhere, or the spring is being interfered with when the cap is on. Does it really spring back into place with noticable force when you place the blade on the window?

Just to add to this, the aero blades [on my Mother's 9N] have always functioned properly. I can only suggest that you wait and see if the new replacement arm makes a difference. I understand that you're having trouble getting the old one off, just try soaking it with WD40 (or similar) and then try prising it off - but be gentle as you don't want to shatter your glass!
Problems like this sometimes arise due to a mis-tensioned/twisted arm. Nothing more sinister than that.
