hi I'm a newbie

can any one help I've a 2006 9N polo gti and the driver's mirror indicator has stopped working , how do I get the lense out to change the bulb........!

come on guy's there must be some one out there that know's how to do this

At the risk of sounding cheeky Have you tried reading the cars handbook it would usually tell you how to change bulbs. I would help but don't have a 9n3. Sorry. will ask my sister in law she might be able to advise seeing as she has a9n3.

You have to take the bottom pannel off the mirror. its not the bulb that needs changing you will need to go to ur vw dealer and give them the part number its stamped on the pannel.

look on the underside of the mirror, thats the part you need to change, its got a few clips (bit awquard) and a few screws if i remember correctly.

Unclip the connector for the light and remove the pannel (the part that needs replacing) i think it cost £17 for the part.

remove mirror glass
pull up on mirror cap to unclip it
unscrew the indicator unit
