Hi Im looking into a group buy of coilovers would anyone be interested and what setup would people prefer .
I was looking at the weitec set up DPM are selling them at £390 with free delivery but i can research other makes like vmax and kw depending on what the majority want.

hopefully just in time for christmas so if enough people are interested ill see how much i can get off.

See what you can do mate, i'm after some but depends on price.

As far as setup goes -
. I'd want to retain a half decent ride.
. I'd want mine to last, not be riddled with corrosion after 5mins (so maybe stainless finish). Have just been reading this on KW site and makes me question galvinised one's ... http://www.kw-suspension.co.uk/salt-spray-test.htm
Maybe someone can offer some advice??


. I've heard good things about the Weitec's (not heard how they weather over time- as are galvinised).
. KW's sound good (aren't they basically supposed to be better Weitech's??)
. Think quite a few have gone Eibach pro-street. I've not heard any horror stories.

. Aren't the vmax cheap s*** ones, or am i thinking of something else?

I would be in for this if the price is right?? also want a resonably good ride but dont mind the harsher ride for better handling.
I wouldn't want to get Vmaxx ones as i always thought they were cheap crappy ones, GTi_dan you are right IMO
Weitec's would be a possibility - Have you considered the AP coilies?? made in the same warehouse as KW coilovers i think.

Worth asking the 9N sub-forum as well, and the Ibiza/Fabia sub-forum.

I'm very happy with my KW v1s BTW, no corrosion but I have got a cracked dirt cover. Good ride and worth the money.
