I called up a garage to ask for fitting of the bushes, he gave me a price of 110 for both sides which i think is very dear.

However hetold me what he thought of these bushes, which i dont know if its true so im askinfg for opinions on you guys who already have it.

The garage guy said that the bushes did not make much different and only the rear bush or outer bush would make the most significant or any change in comparison to the inner bush. He said the inner bush makes near to nothing change and even so the rear bush only makes a small change but nothing noticeable.

Also the the bushes are made for off road use not for the daily driving and that the VW standard bushes are already good as it is.?

So is this true guys about the powerflex bushes?

By the way he did say it politely and gave me this advice so i get a refund lol

I've always seen it as a rather expensive upgrade for something quite small.

If your running a high powered car, and you've upgraded most components within the engine and chassis than yes they are worth it.

Just on they're own there's little to suggest to me that they are worth the price.

If I was to buy them personally I'd make sure I'd have both fronts and rear, front upper and lower strut brace, and rear uprated ARB. Then you'd feel a responsive difference. Otherwise I wouldn't.

Pretty pointless for road use IMHO... get the standard VW ones, they are fairly firm...

If you have no give in the bushes, something else is going to have to flex instead... metal doesnt like bending!
