Hi, Im going to be a complete noob and ask a stupid question.
How do you jack up a car.?
I would like to know 2 ways, with a hydrolic jack and 'stilts'?
Why i ask is im planning on getting coilovers and just wondered how to get the car up.
Also, once i get the car lowered. How on earth do i remove the jack or stilts from under the car if its so low?!
Thanks. much appreciated.
Also, could you link me to a decent jack and stilts. thanks. (if there even called stilts? lol)

use a lift that the 4 lifting bits slide in and out so you can drive away without worrying about getting stuck!

They're called axle stands. There's a solid part on the chassis behind the lower arms which is good. Also where the lower arms pivot.
once you've lowered your car, you'll need to use a space saver jack first before getting a hydraulic jack underneath.

Right ok.
So, underneath the car there are multiple points to use.?
So, when lowering the car:
Use a hydraulic jack on 1 point then put a axle stand on another close by, and take the jack out?
When done lowering:
Put the space saver jack (the one in the boot of the car?) on the location the other jack was on and remove the axle stand?
So, will i even need to use a normal jack considering the space saver does the job any way?
Also, how will i be able to use a lift when i need to take the wheels off?

underneath the car is a rail/lip, which the space saver jack latches onto, use this to wind the car up enough to fit your hydraulic jack under.
If I'm doing the fronts I place the hydraulic jack on the underside of the car, behind the wheel and front arm and jack it up til I get get the axle stands under.
I place the axle stands underneath the lower arm where it pivots.
For the rears just find a place the hydraulic jack, and place the stands next to them on the underside of the car.

Just remember the golden rule to never get under a car which is just on a jack.

I like the sarcasm lol
and i can see why you would think that.
I am technical minded, and can do many things with smaller scale vehicles, but compared to the real size car its a bit different.
Im interested is this stuff, but i dont know much about it. you gotta start some where.
And theres such a thing as safety that i worry about to.
A forum is for helping and thats exactly what i got.
So thanks for the help.
