IS A GTI GRILL BADGE MOULDED OR IS IT A CLIP?

Is a GTI grill badge moulded or clipped to the grill?
i want a honeycomb grill but i dont have a gti
i want to take the badge off so was just wondering. Any info is much appreciated!

It's clipped on.
Once you remove it there are a few tabs, and extra support for the badge, that can be drilled and sanded away.

where do you get the honeycomb grills from? been looking for months and cant find any!

haha, i was looking for ages aswell. you can get the upper gti grill from a vw dealer or on ebay! the lowers are just a case of waiting for some to show up.

what is the link to this gti grill on ebay ?
i seen one on ebay and emailed him asking would it fit my polo match 2008 and he said hes not 100% sure ? has anyone else fitted this gti grill onto a normal polo ?
