today my car has started revving too high revving itself from 1800-2000 revs, i need to brake harder because its pushin itself forward, and also when i was in 3rd gear around 2k revs it was really jerking back and forth then cruising at the ame speed uphill without accelaration, few people have told me its the alternator??????
my battery died yesterday but charged it, will anything like that be the problem ??????

does anybody know how much they cost 2nd hand or even brand new?

and how hard are they to fit?

please can someone help asap as i use my car to get to work early and late every day, it needs fixing.

its a bit late for a reply but i really doubt its ur alternator, all it does it charge the battery, nothing to do with high reving etc, that could be a range of things, ignition leads, sensors...i really doubt if its an alternator:)

Sticky accelerator? Not sure whether the accelerator is cable or not in these cars though.
