Looking at changing the door speakers and tweeters, i'm guessing that the door speakers will be 6.5" as they were in my 6n?
So as for the tweeters i'm completely unsure?
Would any other comp's fit in there in place of them?
Cheers
If you can recomend some door speakers/tweeters go ahead also

Medium budget, don't want cheap s**t obviously. Quality is all i'm after.

go for jbl components, the tweeters will fit straight into the door tweeter pod

With speakers in the doors, i have 2 questions (hopefully not hi jacking the thread)
Wheres the best place to put the amp?
And how would i get power to the amp if i already have a thick gauge (cant remember the number) cable running through the car to my sub amp?
Links for products i need would be of great help, thanks.

well u can get a power cap with the main power cable that you already have going to one of its terminal and grounding the other terminal and then run both amps off the power cap. Thats how ive done mine. no problems just post up how much RMS your subwoofer's amp is running and the RMS for the amp which runs your door speakers and i can tell you what powr cap to get .

hope this help. See you have the 12v wire(blue) from the battery going to one of the terminals on the power cap (green) and then on the other power cap terminal you connect a wire to a decent ground point(black).
and then from the 12v terminal of the power cap you connect 2 more cables going to the 12v on the amps and from the ground terminal of the power cap conect cables to the ground on the amps. and another thing, jump the remote cable from one amp to the other in order for both of them to trigger on when the head unit comes on.

yeah they are components. Components are made up of 3 bits,
The mid bass woofer (door speaker)
The tweeter
The crossover ( Which filters the sound into mid frequency for the door speaker and high frequency for the tweeter.)
