wheels with an Et 45???

how will these wheels sit?
i think that the standard wheels are about Et 35 or something!
soo just wanting to see if any one would know of any problems with the higher offset!
any help would be awesome!

they might hit the suspension depending on the width of the wheel

the wheels would be 16" and 7j wide! ive seen polo wheels with an Et 43!
a just wouldn't want them rubbing of the bags!
and would probs be running 165 40 16's!

Actually 5mm further in. Offsets are measured from the centre so it's 10mm/2.

Just a quick tip, if it even is a tip to start with lol, with ET the higher the number such as 45 or 50 etc then the more further in the wheels will be, hiding under the arches. I think we all tend to go for a lower ET such as 35 or 30, maybe 25 or whatever number is out there on alloys, the lower the ET number then the more the wheels stick out in line with your arches, which gives the best stance i believe. Always check the ET i would say when you shop around for new wheels.
