High Vibration Through Car At Higher Speeds!

Hey Folks,
Having a bit of a problem with the Polo just now.
A few weeks ago i got new tyres put on the car (front two) went for Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2
Anyways, this tyre was a bit wider than my previous tyre so was scrubbing on my arches so had to raise my coilovers up. So got my tracking done after that and i noticed there was a vibration at 80mph + through my steering wheel
I took my car back down to have my tyres balanced again and they were spot on!
Over the past week it has got worse and now i can feel it through my seat! Any info on what else this could be? Common faults?
Thanks Kenny

I would go to another tyre place and get them to redo them. put the new tyres and wheels at the back as it should have the new tryes there anyway with it being front wheel drive. If this doesn't solve the problem than that it is a case of checking all the bushes for wear.

Swapped the front tyres to back today so hopefully that solves the problem, or atleast identifies thats it to do with the wheels. Not had the chance to take it down the bypass at higher speeds tho due to the fantastic weather we are having!

Thought this would solve it sometimes the wheels have some dirt etc that makes the wheel sit not quite perfest and the centerfugal forces will naturally cause it to oscilate off centre. basically it will wobble enough to feel it through the steering.
Thanks God it hasn't started snowing again it took 2 hrs getting home from kilbirnie to linwood on tuesday nightmare at least I was heading east and not the other way 5 hours for the return journey some folk were telling me all down to the councils not gritting the roads.

I know mate! My girlfriend stays in Kilbirnie, i was going there from Irvine and decided to go over the Barmill road on Tuesday night. a 20 minute trip usually took 2 1/2 hours and a smoked out clutch! Then had to abandon my poor Polo in the middle of Kilbirnie over night cause i couldnt get up the hill to hers! Had a sleepless night!
