does anyone know if the abd racing performance inlet manifold for the 1.8t fits the polo 1.8t
seems to get great reviews and claims to an extra 12 - 14 bhp and 22ft/lb torque on modified engines
sounds good, but will it fit my 20vt 9n3

Hi Jeff,
From what i have heard and read, changing inlet manifold wont make much difference unless going the BT route. Your Ko3s must be running max power as it is?

Have you got plans for changing to a different turbo?

to be honest im quite happy as it is, but surely more airflow has gotta make somedifference somewhere
does anyone know if the polo is big port or small port

Am pretty sure its small port, AGU is big port which is in the Golf mk4, well some of them.
Why not get an exhaust manifold?

im happy at the minute with what i have, with the exhaust mani and inlet mani done it will be plenty enough for me
mines ran for 3 years now, NEVER failed me once, never lost any fluids or had any problems, for me thats what its all about, reliable and quick, with stage 3, great, you get tons more power again, more power which will hinder the reliability, start to make other parts fail, such as the diff, cluthc and box, and none of these are cheap parts to replace
im focusing on looks now, subtle changes, and the abd inlet fits that well, looks awesome and its gonna increase the airflow too at the same time
maybe im getting old, but ill not be buying a new car probably for some years and even if i do, i want to keep my little gti for years to come, so i want it right, and not breaking down on me every trip i make, its not being used through winter as i have my golf gti to use for that,

Golf GTI? What one have you got?
They say you cant get anymore than 230 out of a Ko3s, but if your running near that and go and fit the manis, do you think the power will go up that much, JBS claim a rise on 10bhp from fitting there exhaust manifold.

Well I'm running 231bhp and 277 ft-lb now. I don't think
It's unrealistic to get 15 bhp from the 2 manifolds so that's 245 bhp

Getting Polo Cup alloys
Not sure what am gonna do with my wheels yet, maybe keep them and send them off to be re-diamond cut? Not really thought about it tho.

Good choice on the wheels.
I already have the new south performance power gasket. It's a good part.
What is needed for the bigger fuel pressure regulator

Did you fit the gasket yourself or get awesome to do it?
4 Bar FPR is required for REVO stage two, if you were to fit one you would need to adjust your map to suit tho.
Cant wait to get the wheels on, hopefully this weekend.

i got awesome to do it whilst it was in for a service, really stops heat transfer from the block to the inlet manifold
