HEATER

hey guys, ive had a problem with my heater since i had it, its NEVER gotten warm, what are the components of the heater which could go wrong ?? ive read other posts but not really got anything from them, and i dont have a clue to be honest so any ideas would be greatt thanks.

Is your engine temperature ok?
There is a valve (controlled by the hot/cold dial in the dash) on the pipe that goes into the heater matrix (the little radiator the fan sucks air through to heat it up in the cabin). Its possible that the cable that comes from the dial has become detatched, or you have a blockage in your heater matrix
