was on the r32 forum the other day and see a few of them on there our running these DRL in the bottem of there bumper, really like the idea so bought some cheap ones of ebay only cheap £20. I got some plactic angle brackets from wickes cut them up to my size and stuck them behind the honey comb grills, the ones with the fog lights in! to be honest i thought it would look bit chavv but after doing i think it looks ok ... what you guys think?

It looks alright mate!
same could you put up where you got them?? and what brackets etc used. difficult to wire in??

Shouldn't be too difficult. Would be the same as wiring the neons in the footwells. That was a simple task, I located the illumination wire (optional, so when I turn the sidelights on they automatically light on) and tapped into that wire with the 12V positive wire and grounded the other wire. Shouldn't be too difficult.
Also the LED's look a bit dim, any chance you could get brighter ones, like the Audi ones?

im a bit of a novice when it comes to wiring wouldn't know where to start. i would like some subtle lighting in my footwells though thats also an idea. (sorry off topic)
yeah they might need to be a bit brighter if you can get any brighter?

But yeah brighter LED's would like nice!

The DRL look good!!! Look like you've done a good job of fitting them too!!!
Karson: A guide to how you did them lights in the footwell would be good. Got the LED's and resistors already, just not sure how to fit them and where to take my feed from!!!

Karson, guide would be great! and yes exaclty what im after!! that would be awsome if the lights came on with the sidelights too
think i might invest in some DRL in the near future.

Alright guys, will post a guide tomorrow around 7:30 PM on a guide with the tools needed, instructions and where to get the neons from.
