130 turbo and jabbasport custom map on a 100 tdi pd

hi guys would i need to upgrade my intercooler, exhaust and injectors ?
any info would be great as im not sure on tuning a diesel...

Been there - Thought about it, realised it's too much money to waste really.
had my PD100 re-mapped, transformed the car.
Either do like me.
or buy a GT TDI

Don't listen to the above.
Depends what power you want.
You could get 170+ with over 300 lbft torque with your intercooler and exhaust, but you would need to upgrade the injectors aswell as the turbo

i agree with what you are saying mate to be honest with you!? i want a strong 180+ my only query is as this is my first diesel how would it with 180 bhp compete with a petrol with 180bhp i cant get my head around this :S

roughly the same 0-60 and 1/4 mile, but way way more driveable in the gears if you use them right.

just do it lou will love the power dont forget you will have almost twice the toqure of a petrol car and its this that pins you in the seat

so it will be alot quicker than my 100 as it is standard? (stupid question!) my only worry is on the five speed gearbox?

for a diesel i was sick trust me you will not reget parting with the money
i only ever used 6th on the motorway

Whats the worry with the 5sp box?
The 02J boxes are strong up to 300bhp+ so don't let that worry you

The 5 speed is reportedly stronger than the 6 speed (it was Awesome GTI who told me this).

my worry was being able to transmit so much power through the box but the comments above and speaking to jabbasport have made my answer easy doooooo it....

Had my car (pd100) mapped in december 2008, had that map tweaked today, I have stock turbo but with 63mm turboback exhaust and fmic with bmc filter and pd160 intake.
Doing 116kw 434nm now
