It's sure worth the money, sound's very nice and the power gains are substantial with a remap.

The pics were with the k03 with stage2 remap.
Now I have a custom made TIP, a BMC DIA airfilter, 3" MAF housing, Forge 007p DV with a spring kit (not in the pictures), Forge FMIC, stock internals and 1.3 bar boost
Here is a pic of the engine bay ( it will be cleaned in the future) and the TIP

How do you put the battery in the boot sounds hard work!
With the BMC fitted looks like it must be hard to get cold air there. I dont want heat soak

BMC is a verry good product, from the times i have seen it fitted on a car, it allways performed verry good!
about heatsoak, you won't get heat soak from your airfilter,
heatsoak comes from the intercooler, that cools down the air that goes into the engine,
so if it get a bit hot air, it's not so bad if you have a good FMIC. the stock Smic is rubbisch and will verry easy give you heatsoak.
if the airfilter will get cold air it will be better, but it's less importand on a turbo engine than on a N/A engine.
to get the battery in the thrunk is not thats much of a job i guess.
never done it to a polo myself but it must be do-able.
but it's the best option to place the biggest type from BMC CDA.
i think it's harder to do when you work around the battery to fit the BMC

Ahhh I see so the £600 for the fmic is worth it? I'm going to fit the BMC this weekend if the weather holds up. Il fire up a few pictures. Does it just bolt straight on to the MAF? I'm excited to hear the induction noise. Going for stage one at a later date.

The induction noise is really nice! and about the heat soak, exactly like turbomier said, even if you get cold air from outside, it will get hot from the turbo charger. So yes, the FMIC is worth it

I've always wondered about "telling insurance".
Do modifications like this put the insurance up by a lot? It's generally what has always put me off.
I'm also left wondering should I declare my body coloured bumper strips.
