polo tdi steering rack are they the same as petrol?

hi guys been visiting the forum alot as a non member.. i have a quick question
are the Steering Racks for the polo mk5 1.4 TDI facelift the same as any other polo?
i will be fitting a 1.o 51 plate petrol steering rack in is this ok?
